About Brown Lily

Hello and welcome to Brown Lily!

My name is Alex and Brown Lily is my handmade business.  I pride myself in making beautiful bespoke handmade giftware and homewares for children and adults using vibrant and colourful iconic Liberty of London Tana Lawn fabrics.  From my home studio in Bowral, located in the picturesque Southern Highlands of NSW, everything is crafted and handmade with care and attention to detail with the intention to be worn, loved, treasured and passed down. 

All of my fabrics and designs are thoughtfully chosen, using a combination of traditional, classical and current seasonal Liberty of London fabrics, linens and wool.  From the humble beginnings of creating face masks and hair accessories during the pandemic, Brown Lily has grown organically to include many other items such as handmade quilts, santa sacks, Easter bunny bags, personalised blankets and more!  I am always on the lookout for fresh ideas to bring Liberty into customers homes and lives.

Whilst maintaining my busy family of five, Brown Lily allows me the creative licence to create, make and do what I love the most!
